Billing & Refund Policy
Last Updated: January 22, 2026
This Billing & Refund Policy ("Policy") governs payments, subscriptions, refunds, and billing-related matters for Commenzo ("Commenzo," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Web Thrive, LLC. This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of Commenzo's Terms of Service.
By purchasing or using a paid subscription, you agree to this Policy.
1. Subscription Billing
- Commenzo is offered on a subscription basis. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or otherwise as presented at checkout).
- Charges are processed automatically using your selected payment method.
- You authorize Commenzo to charge applicable fees, taxes, and adjustments.
- All prices are displayed at the time of purchase and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
2. Payment Failures
If a payment cannot be processed:
- We may retry the charge using your selected payment method.
- Access to paid features may be limited or suspended until payment is successfully processed.
- Continued non-payment may result in account termination.
3. Plan Changes
Upgrades
- Plan upgrades may take effect immediately.
- Additional charges may be prorated based on the remaining billing period.
Downgrades
- Downgrades generally take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
- Feature access and usage limits adjust according to the active plan.
4. Cancellations
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.
- Cancellation prevents future billing.
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
5. Refund Policy
Subscription fees are non-refundable, except:
- Where required by applicable law, or
- Where Commenzo, in its sole discretion, approves a refund as an accommodation.
If you believe a charge was made in error or that Commenzo failed to deliver the Services as described, you may submit a refund request within 14 days of the billing date.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as:
- Account usage
- Subscription history
- Timing and nature of the request
Approved refunds may be issued in full or in part and will be processed to the original payment method where possible.
6. Free Trials
- Certain plans may include a free trial.
- Trial eligibility, duration, and included features are determined by Commenzo and may change.
- Unless canceled before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and be billed.
- Charges incurred after trial expiration are non-refundable except as required by law.
7. Usage Limits and Fair Use
Each subscription plan includes defined usage limits. You are responsible for monitoring your usage relative to plan limits.
Commenzo reserves the right to:
- Enforce usage limits
- Restrict or suspend access for excessive usage or abuse
- Require a plan upgrade to continue service
8. Pricing Changes
- We may modify pricing, plans, or billing structures from time to time.
- Changes will not apply retroactively.
- When reasonably practicable, we will provide advance notice of material pricing changes.
- Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies imposed by governmental authorities, excluding taxes based on Commenzo's income.
10. Chargebacks and Disputes
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Commenzo may result in:
- Suspension of your account
- Loss of access to Services
- Ineligibility for future subscriptions
We encourage contacting support@commenzo.com to resolve billing issues before initiating disputes.
11. Conflicts
